JZ Holdings Inc. is a real-estate holding company owned in equal thirds by three members of the Paulin family. It sits alongside our other Renfrew-based businesses — Mikron Woodworking Machinery, Mikron Barn Door, and JZ Trim — and holds the properties that support our long-term interests in the Ottawa Valley and Eastern Ontario.

The company was formed to bring shape and discipline to what we already were doing: buying good buildings in towns we know, keeping them in careful hands, and holding them for the long term. Decisions are made together, at the kitchen table more often than in a boardroom.

JZ Development is our project arm.

Where a property in our portfolio calls for more than stewardship — a restoration, a rezoning, a purpose-built use — the work is carried out under JZ Development Inc., a separately incorporated affiliate of JZ Holdings.

Both companies are privately held by the Paulin family. JZ Development is not a public offering, does not solicit subscriptions of any kind, and has no securities available for sale. It exists only to give our own long-horizon projects a clear operating and legal home.
